Basically what this is from is an archive on the ABQ Journal.com site.  These were what look to be a republishing of the original 1947 articles for the 50th anniversary of the Roswell events. This first link has three articles on it and is dated July 6, 1947 and July 5, 1947.  The first is by Scientists, the second is a Denial Knowing of Disks, and the third is Veterans Hosp. Patients and sightings.  There is a nice graphic of the original paper on the page, very interesting!

hello im aaron and i used to work for a government and i cant say anything about it but i can say is when you see a light in the sky and it is shaped triangle like most of them are 99% of the time they are stealth fighters and these days are aircraft can hover above things but only for a certain height i do believe in ufos but only becauase of the secrecy about it when i was there and one last thing is that every country in the world that has alot of money is going to have special aircraft not many people know about and spy satelite things that look alot like some of the ufo videos ive seen posted to me and ive only ever seen about 5 videos i know theyre the aliens but if they are real which i believe they are they are not having contact with anyones government i no that for a fact! but we also have had some fighters searching for them and some have been found unknown and forrgoten for some reason.

This particular thread is specific to historical news items dealing with the Roswell Saga dated 1947.  The aircraft that your speaking of is current and I've seen these on the T.V. in and around 10 years past.  So 1999 would date it as an extreme.  And yes those hover and as we know in 1947 airplanes are quite heavy and the technology of the day not very advanced, their main concern is to make them lighter, faster and more fuel efficient, in order to have the abilities to travel longer distances.  But that is another topic.

I'm sure there's a thread on the forum better suited for this conversation and if not your more then welcome to make a thread.  The ability is available to members of the site.  If the thread is considered a good effort and something the owner wants to keep within the archive, remember for the sake of available space try and keep the posters on topic; sometimes posts on a thread are thinned especially if posts go off topic.  So I'd beg that you find or add the thread with the topic that this conversation makes the best partnering and sense with.  It too may find a place in the archive.  Opinions, words, and experiences of all members are important.

That one is just a very good read, it was published 04/05/96.
It gives several different stories all of which are very detailed and highly interesting!

I was able to pick this video up out of the archives.  It's an interview that Glen Davis and his grandson did.  Glenn Davis was the 22 year old kid that showed up to the military base from the mortuary.  He kept his secret for a bunch of years and finally come forwards many years later with what happened at the base.  He was if he's still with us one of the founders of the Roswell Museum.  It's a long interview, well for my machine anyway; but he gives in it a lot of information about Roswell, the event, the some of the people in it.  It's a rambling informal style of interview but it does give some insight of the man and his life.

This link above is to an interesting look at the Roswell event.
Some of the info we've either seen via video or in print.  This piece has upon it the napkin drawing of the alien life form that we heard Glenn Davis talk of on his grandson's video.  It was given to him at the meeting with the military nurse. This one is a report update on an earlier report the author had made. It is a report concerning the debris field at Roswell.  I've found the title of it interesting, it's first I've seen of the "Mogul Hypothesis" title.  I hope to do more searching for information concerning the original Hypothesis it's alluding towards.
